Vashon "Shon" Oakley combines his experience with exotic animals with a strategic approach to genetic breeding programs. His expertise in working with complex genetic combinations has helped establish OAK-KINS GENETIXX's foundation breeding stock, which includes traditional morphs such as enchi, pinstripe, black pastel, leopard, chocolate, hypo, lavender albino, bamboo, banana, clown, and pied genetics, as well as more rare and valuable morphs such as mandarin, harlequin, trojan, lace, mogwai, spotnose, axanthic, desert ghost, confusion, jedi, and ultramel.

As Breeding Director, Shon oversees the company's genetic planning and breeding operations, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and genetic integrity. His hands-on approach to snake husbandry and careful attention to detail in breeding pair selection has positioned OAK-KINS GENETIXX to develop unique morphs that will contribute to the advancement of ball python genetics.

As a woman in the predominantly male-dominated field of ball python breeding, she represents a new generation of breeders focused on making the hobby more accessible and inclusive.

Maia's approach to ball python breeding reflects her nurturing spirit, treating each snake with the same care and attention she gives to her bonus-grandchildren and family members. Her dedication to cleanliness, health monitoring, and logistics in the business operations keeps the snakes happy and healthy and the operations running smoothly.
